Customer Comments
"I bought these grilling planks to use with a Weber Nation recipe I had seen Jamie Purviance do. The thought is always at the back of your mind that the smells and the flavours are exaggerated for dramatic effect. However, I can confirm that the aromas and flavours are indescribable, the planks are worth every penny and help create an authentically smoked and flavourful menu item.
Friends and guests will have a memorable occasion if you cook on these planks at your next BBQ. If you don't have a recipe don't worry, the packs come with handy hints and tips on the packaging. Absolute bargain, could be thicker, but I would expect 2-3 uses per plank, allowing upto 10+ uses per pack.
A great item, easy to prepare, overall grilling time 30 mins depending on the recipe. Furthermore you food looks just like it does on the pictures. I have attached mine for proof".

Grilling Plank Instructions:
Submerge the plank in water for at least 30 minutes. Pre-heat your barbecue to a medium high heat (400-425 degrees). Place the soaked plank onto the grill and close the lid for a couple of minutes until the plank starts to smoke. Then place the food on the plank, reclose the lid and follow the temperature guide in the recipe. If a flame should occur, douse with water as needed or keep a spray bottle handy.
Use the plank to serve your meal bu placing it on a board or platter. It will be extremely hot, so use tongs, gloves or oven mitts to remove from heat. Cleanup is easy with warm soapy water - wash and leave to dry. It can usually be used two or three times. To dispose of used plank, when cool, you can crumble onto charcoals for additional flavor for future barbecues or discard.
